Organizers of Legal Catholic Wedding Ceremonies in English on Ibiza

YOUR CATHOLIC WEDDING CEREMONY

My husband and I are professional musicians who started doing music for Anglican and catholic wedding ceremonies 15 years ago .Some of the catholic ceremonies that we attended as musicians, ended up with myself translating for the Spanish priest!! We realized that couples from abroad wanting to marry over here, could use some help organizing a church with an English speaking priest.
The trust and respect that we have gained with some of the priests that we have worked with, here on Ibiza, has enabled us to provide a service to help couples wanting to get married on this magical island in some of the most beautiful churches the island has to offer.
So the first step for planning your wedding ceremony is to choose your church. At the moment we can arrange a catholic ceremony with or without the full mass in the following churches~San Carlos ,Santa Eulalia (Puig de Missa),San Rafael,San Jose,Es Cubells, San Miguel , San Agustin, San Jordi,San Francisco de las Salinas,Santa Gertrudis,Santa Ines,Jesus , open air chapel in Cala Llonga, san Juan ,san Lorenzo , San Vicente and The cathedral of Ibiza. Please see ´Churches´for pictures.
The reason for these churches being available and not others is that they either have a priest who can hold the ceremony in English or there is an agreement with a missionary priest working here on the island to travel to that church and hold the ceremony. The catholic church requires at least one of you to be baptized catholic.
Once you have decided on the church then I can make a provisional booking on the date you have in mind. I’m afraid the priest will not take a fixed booking until he has his new diary up and running for that year. This is usually at the end of September. The priest of Es Cubells and San Jose will Only confirm 6 months prior to the wedding date.
If you are planning to visit the island before the wedding to organize venues for your reception etc, then please contact us and we can meet up to discuss the paperwork and the next steps.
