My husband and I are professional musicians who met on the island of Ibiza 25 years ago. We married in the idyllic church of San Carlos and still live in the village of San Carlos which we have made our home for life! We have three children, two of whom were born on the island and attend the international school here.
In his younger days Johnny was musical director for the Drifters, jammed with Mark Knoffler and ended up working for Manumission composing many of their theme tunes.Educated at the university of Durham and an associate of the London college of music he now works part time at Morna International college as the director of musical productions along with his company wedding ceremonies Ibiza.
Samantha trained as a soprano at the Guildall school of music and drama and now works full time at Morna International college. But her passion remains with the organizing of the weddings she assists each year.
“We started doing music for wedding ceremonies some 20 years ago. Some of the catholic ceremonies that we attended as musicians ended up with myself translating for the Spanish priest!! We realized that couples from abroad wanting to marry over here could use some help organizing a church with an English speaking priest. As we started to help couples organize their weddings we were also approached by couples who preferred to have an Anglican blessing and get married in their own country or had decided on a secular ceremony. So we set to work helping to arrange a ceremony for everyone’s beliefs.
The trust and respect that we have gained with the priests that we have worked with, here on Ibiza, has enabled us to provide a service to help couples wanting to get married on this magical island in some of the most beautiful churches it has to offer.
For those couples who prefer a celebrant ceremony we provide both a male and female celebrant who will work closely with you to create a personal commitment ceremony at the venue of your choice.
